The CTS Turbo atmospheric BOV kit (BOV – blow-off valve) for vehicles with 1.8 TSI and 2.0 TSI EA888 Gen.3 engines is made from machined 6061 aluminium and is fully serviceable. The kit is compatible with all original electronics, does not trigger the engine warning light and allows direct installation without extending the wiring.
The kit replaces the original plastic assembly, which can suffer from diaphragm damage, cracked plastic and electrical faults. The piston design ensures a long service life, easy installation, full serviceability and a pronounced sound. Due to its compact design, the valve is slightly shorter than the original, so it also fits well in the limited space of modern VAG vehicles.
