CTS Turbo kit with an atmospheric BOV valve for 1.6-litre N14 engines in MINI vehicles. The valve is made from T6061 aluminium with a CNC-machined design and is fully serviceable. It is designed to work with the original electronics, so it does not cause the engine warning light to come on.
The CTS Turbo N14 BOV replaces the factory plastic unit, which can suffer from diaphragm damage, cracked plastic and electrical faults. The piston design provides a long service life, easy installation and complete serviceability. The valve is slightly shorter than the standard one, so it also fits well in the N14 engine’s tight engine bay.
Installing the kit does not require removal of the factory turbocharger. The estimated installation time is 30–60 minutes, depending on the installer’s speed and experience.
