The CTS Turbo cat-back exhaust system for the Audi S4 B8/B8.5 is TIG-welded by hand and made from high-quality seamless T304 stainless steel. The system is fully TIG-welded and includes fitting hardware and stainless steel clamps.
The exhaust system delivers an aggressive sound during spirited driving while remaining moderate during relaxed driving. According to the manufacturer, it improves throttle response and the engine’s peak power. The total system weight is 18.14 kg.

SoundAktor
Vehicles manufactured from 2012 onwards may be fitted with a SoundAktor system.
- A speaker at the lower edge of the windscreen that is activated in Dynamic mode and creates an artificial intake system sound.
- Sounds from the audio system that create a sporty exhaust sound and are active regardless of the selected MMI mode.
To deactivate the SoundAktor system, remove fuse number 5 from block A in the fuse box on the driver’s side. This deactivates the system without triggering the engine fault light or storing fault codes. The fuse is labelled “Sound actuator/exhaust sound tuning” in the owner’s manual. Check the fuse location in your vehicle’s owner’s manual.
For vehicles with a SoundAktor system, it is recommended to remove the fuse or deactivate the system via VAGCOM.
