The diverter valve spacer is designed for the turbochargers of BMW N55 engines. Its design allows compressed air from the turbocharger to be released into the atmosphere, creating a more pronounced blow-off valve (BOV) sound when changing gear and closing the throttle.
Strategically positioned ports provide enhanced sound without triggering the check engine light (CEL). The spacer has been tested on various vehicles with the N55 engine.
