The CTS Turbo non-resonated downpipe for the Audi A4, A5 and Q5 2.0T is designed to replace the restrictive factory front silencer pipe. It is installed directly after the catalytic converter, test pipe or high-flow catalytic converter.
It is made from 3″-diameter T304 stainless steel tubing with smooth mandrel-bent bends and a reinforced stainless steel flex section. The fully TIG-welded construction improves exhaust gas flow and provides a more pronounced, sporty sound. The downpipe replaces the factory front silencer, part no. 2 in the diagram.
