The CTS Turbo downpipe for four-wheel-drive vehicles with a 2.0T engine includes a 200-cell high-flow metallic sports catalyst. It is made from 3-inch (3″) seamless T304 stainless steel pipes, with all joints 100% TIG welded. Stainless steel mounting hardware and clamps are included.
The larger pipe diameter enables less turbulent exhaust gas flow from the turbocharger and wastegate, improving turbocharger response and potentially increasing power and torque across the entire rev range. This upgrade is particularly worthwhile on the Golf R, Audi TTS Quattro and Audi S3 Quattro due to their factory-fitted high-performance K04 turbocharger.
