The CTS Turbo 3-inch stainless steel downpipe is designed for Gen3 TSI EA888.3 engines. The factory downpipe heavily restricts exhaust gas flow, affecting performance, particularly in vehicles with engine software tuning installed. With mandrel-bent 3-inch pipes, smooth transitions and a modular design, the CTS Turbo downpipe enables more efficient exhaust gas flow and easier installation.
Precise manufacturing, a CNC-machined turbocharger flange and a front-wheel-drive configuration are intended for users who want to improve the exhaust system of their VW vehicles with 1.8T/2.0T Gen3 engines.

Suitable engine tuning software is required to remove the check engine light (CEL), which may appear after installation. A Stage 2 software upgrade is recommended or required for correct operation. CTS Turbo recommends using a high-flow catalytic converter to reduce the environmental impact.
The product is intended only for Gen3 and Gen3-B engines that are not on the MQB platform and have a downpipe with a V-band connection and a black engine cover.
