The CTS Turbo downpipe for vehicles with a 2.0T engine and all-wheel drive is fully TIG welded and made from 3-inch (3″) seamless T304 stainless steel. The kit includes mounting hardware and stainless steel clamps. Compared with the original downpipe, the larger pipe diameter allows a less turbulent exit flow for exhaust gases from the turbocharger and wastegate, helping boost pressure build more quickly and increasing peak power and torque throughout the rev range.
The product replaces the factory downpipe. The upgrade is particularly effective on Golf R, Audi TTS Quattro and Audi S3 Quattro vehicles, as they are factory-equipped with the high-performance K04 turbocharger.
