The CTS Turbo high-flow downpipe with a 200-cell metal catalytic converter is designed for VW Tiguan I and Audi Q3 8U vehicles with 1.8T or 2.0T engines. It is made from 3-inch (3″) T304 stainless steel seamless tubing, with all welds completed using the TIG process. Stainless steel mounting hardware and clamps are included.
The downpipe replaces the factory part, allowing faster turbocharger response and greater peak power. The larger pipe diameter enables less turbulent exhaust gas flow from the turbocharger and wastegate, helping to increase power and torque throughout the rev range. It produces a sporty exhaust note without added resonance or unpleasant cabin drone.
