The CTS Turbo downpipe for the VW Tiguan I and Audi Q3 8U with a 1.8T/2.0T engine replaces the factory downpipe. It is made from 3-inch (3″) seamless T304 stainless steel pipes, allowing less turbulent exhaust gas flow from the turbocharger and wastegate. The larger diameter helps the turbocharger spool up faster and increases power and torque throughout the rev range.
The downpipe is 100% TIG-welded and includes stainless steel mounting hardware and clamps. A removable 60 mm diameter reducer allows connection to the factory exhaust system clamp. The exhaust sound is improved without adding unwanted droning in the passenger compartment.
