CTS Turbo downpipe with high-flow catalyst for VW Golf R/Audi A3/S3/TT MQB AWD

The CTS Turbo high-flow catalyst for the MQB platform is made from stainless steel and designed for installation on VW Golf R MK7/MK7.5 and Audi A3/S3 8V vehicles. The factory downpipe heavily restricts exhaust gas flow, which is particularly noticeable on vehicles with optimised engine software. This downpipe allows smoother exhaust gas flow and improves the flow capacity of the exhaust system.

The modular design simplifies catalyst installation, while the smooth transitions help ensure efficient exhaust gas flow. The kit includes a CNC-machined turbine or downpipe flange, mandrel-bent stainless steel pipework and Torca Accuseal clamps.

The downpipe can provide a more pronounced sound even with the original exhaust system, without excessive intrusive cabin drone.

Suitable software is required to eliminate the engine warning light (CEL) that may appear due to catalyst efficiency. Stage 2 software is required to prevent the warning light. The optional CEL spacer significantly reduces the possibility of a catalyst-efficiency fault code, but does not guarantee this in 100% of cases.

For a more natural engine sound and less intrusive drone, we recommend switching off the Soundaktor system or sound amplifier.
