The CTS Turbo downpipe with a 3.5-inch high-flow catalyst is designed for front-wheel-drive MQB vehicles, including the VW Golf GTI, VW Golf 1.8 TSI, VW GLI, VW Beetle 1.8 TSI, Audi TT Mk3 and Audi A3 1.8 TSI. This version is not suitable for Quattro four-wheel-drive vehicles.
The factory downpipe significantly restricts exhaust gas flow, which is particularly noticeable on vehicles with upgraded engine software. The CTS Turbo high-flow catalyst allows smoother exhaust gas flow. The downpipe uses a CNC-machined turbo outlet flange, 3-inch mandrel-bent stainless steel pipes, a modular design for easy catalyst installation and smooth transitions for optimal flow.
The product is made from T304 stainless steel and is fully TIG-welded and internally protected with shielding gas. Even with the standard exhaust system, it provides a pronounced sound without annoying drone.

Suitable Stage 2 software is required to prevent the engine warning light from coming on. Using an additional CEL eliminator greatly reduces the possibility of the light coming on due to a catalyst efficiency fault, but does not prevent it completely.
