The CTS Turbo atmospheric blow-off valve spacer is intended for 2.0T FSI/TSI/TFSI engines with EA113, EA888.1 and EA888.2 engines, as well as some Gen. 3 engines.
The spacer acts as a pressure-release system. In combination with the original diverter valve (DV), it vents excess charge air into the atmosphere instead of returning it to the engine’s intake system. This gives you the characteristic blow-off valve sound without replacing the factory DV or installing a completely separate blow-off valve.
It can be used with or without installed software. When correctly installed, it does not cause the engine warning light (CEL) to illuminate. It works best with the original Revision D or Revision C diverter valve.
The spacer is made from solid aluminium machined in Canada. Longer mounting bolts are included, and installation is straightforward.
Compatibility and limitations
- Suitable for factory-specification turbochargers and upgraded K04 turbochargers.
- Compatible with original part numbers 06F145710G, 06H145710D and 06H145710C.
- Does not fit MQB vehicles such as the Volkswagen Golf MK7 GTI/Golf R or the Audi A3 8V/S3.
- Does not fit Volkswagen GLI and Beetle vehicles with the EA888.3 engine from model year 2014 onwards.
- For Audi 2.0T B9 models, compatibility is limited to model years 2017–2019.
