CTS Turbo diverter valve (DV) kit for 1.4-litre Twincharger engines from the Volkswagen Group. It is made from T6061 aluminium in a CNC-billet design and can be fully serviced. It works with the factory electronics and does not trigger the engine warning light.
The kit replaces the original plastic valve, which can suffer from diaphragm damage, cracked plastic and electrical faults. The piston design provides a long service life, easy installation, full serviceability and greater reliability compared with the original valve. The compact design is slightly shorter than the original unit, so it also fits well in the restricted 1.4 engine bay.
Installation does not require removal of the factory turbocharger. Installation takes approximately 30–60 minutes, depending on the installer’s speed and experience.
