The CTS Turbo atmospheric BOV kit (Blow-Off Valve) for the EVO4 engine in the MK8 Golf GTI is made from machined T6061 aluminium. It is compatible with the factory electronics, while installation is plug-and-play, with no need to extend the wiring and without triggering the engine warning light.
Compared with the factory plastic valve, which can develop a torn diaphragm, cracks in the plastic and electrical faults, the kit features a robust piston design. It allows easy installation and servicing with improved reliability, while also providing a more pronounced turbocharger sound.
The compact design is slightly shorter than the original part, so it can also be installed without difficulty in the limited space of the engine bay.
