The CTS Turbo FMIC kit for the first-generation Audi TT 225Q is a suitable upgrade for standard or modified vehicles. Compared with competing solutions, it provides noticeably better cooling, while also offering significant cooling advantages over the factory setup.
Improved efficiency is provided by the high-density intercooler core, cast aluminium end tanks and bar-and-plate core design. Every pipe in the kit has a rolled edge, reducing the risk of pipes coming off or leaking under boost pressure. The kit includes pipes made from black powder-coated aluminium, 4-ply silicone couplers and stainless steel T-clamps.
The intercooler is pressure-tested before dispatch. It is rated for up to 450 hp at the crankshaft. The intercooler dimensions are 25.25″ × 8″ × 3″, while the distance between the end tanks is 35.5″.
Note: The headlamp washer jets cannot be retained when installing this kit.
