CTS Turbo high-flow catalytic converters for BMW S58 are designed as part of a modular exhaust system and are compatible with factory centre pipes. The stainless steel pipes enable faster turbocharger response, improved response to changes in boost pressure, higher boost pressure and a more pronounced sound.
Exhaust gas flow was optimised using CAD simulation, ensuring correct flow direction and compatibility with factory and CTS Turbo exhaust components. When used with suitable engine tuning software, a significant improvement in torque can be expected.
Bootmod3 software is compatible and its use is strongly recommended. If suitable software tuning is not used, the check engine light (CEL) will come on.
Two new BMW 18308053348 gaskets are required and are not included.
