CTS Turbo hybrid turbocharger for VW Golf R VII/Audi A3/S3 8V

CTS Turbo hybrid turbocharger with a twin ceramic ball bearing and stainless steel exhaust housing, designed for 2015–2020 vehicles on the MQB platform.

The turbocharger is designed as a direct replacement for the existing IS12, IS20 or IS38 turbochargers. CTS redesigned and cast its own stainless steel exhaust housing, allowing the use of a larger turbine wheel. The compressor housing is custom-made and adapted for the popular TD06 compressor wheel with a machined compressor, allowing the turbocharger to operate reliably at boost pressure above 30 PSI.

The CHRA is upgraded with a twin ball bearing made from heat-resistant ceramic. The assembly is balanced on a VSR high-speed balancer. For installation, the actuator and turbocharger outlet connection must be transferred. ECU tuning is required.

Important: Always follow the correct wastegate actuator checking and adjustment procedure during installation. Always change the engine oil.

Gaskets, the wastegate actuator and the turbocharger outlet connection are not included.
