The CTS Turbo adapter kit enables the installation of FSI or TSI ignition coils in the 1.8T engine. Using these coils allows a larger spark plug gap, which can improve idle smoothness, fuel consumption, throttle response and combustion.
The kit is designed to upgrade the original ignition coils on 1.8T engines, which are known to suffer from coil failures. The kit includes four CNC-machined 6061 aluminium adapters and stainless steel bolts. CTS Turbo adapters are compatible with all 1.8T engines.
