The CTS Turbo Runner Flap Delete (RFD) kit enables removal of the restrictive intake manifold flaps on EA888.3 Gen.3 engines. The factory flaps can represent a significant flow restriction on modified vehicles. Correct operation requires an RFD-specific software adjustment of the engine electronics.
The components are not all identical. Two inserts differ from the others, so they must be installed in the correct positions during installation.
With the appropriate software adjustment, an increase of 8 whp is stated.
Compatible only with EA888.3 Gen.3 engines in MK7 GTI, Golf R, Audi A3 8V and S3 8V models. Fits 1.8T and 2.0T Gen.3 engines.
Not suitable for vehicles with FSI/TSI/TFSI EA888.1 or EA888.2 or EA113 engines.
Suitable for: Audi A3 III (8V), Audi S3 III (8V), VW Golf VII (5G1).
