The CTS Turbo intake system is designed for BMW M3, M4 and M2 Competition vehicles with the S55 engine. The factory air scoops direct air into chambers where the CTS Turbo intake system is installed.
The air then passes through a high-flow inverted cone air filter, allowing the engine to breathe more efficiently. The one-piece aluminium intake pipes, manufactured using CNC mandrel bending, ensure a smooth supply of cold air to the engine. The manufacturer states a power increase of 9–12 hp, as well as improved power and torque throughout the rev range, together with a more pronounced, race-inspired sound.
