CTS Turbo intake system for VAG MQB 1.8/2.0 TSI with SAI

CTS Turbo intake system for MQB-platform vehicles with 1.8 TSI or 2.0 TSI engines and a secondary air injection (SAI) system. It is intended primarily for modified vehicles that require greater intake airflow.

The factory air intake scoop works together with the closed airbox to direct cold air into the intake system. The air then flows through a 3.5-inch high-flow filter with an inverted conical design. The 3.5-inch CNC-bent aluminium intake pipe provides the smoothest possible entry of cold air into the engine and reduces turbulence caused by unnecessary connections. The complete system provides greater airflow, a more pronounced race-inspired sound, and increased power and torque throughout the rev range.

For an otherwise standard vehicle, maximum power gains of 10–15 HP are stated. For a more natural engine sound and less unwanted droning, it is recommended to disable the Soundaktor system, the factory sound amplifier.

Limitation: suitable only for 1.8 TSI and 2.0 TSI engines.

Important: only for vehicles without a MAF sensor. Check the vehicle specification before installation.

Suitable for: Audi A3 III (8V), Audi TT III (FV), VW Golf VII (5G1), VW Jetta IV (162).
