The CTS Turbo upgraded front-mount intercooler (FMIC) is designed for direct installation in the Audi B9 platform. The product is now available in an updated black finish.
The original intercoolers on the B9 platform have limited capabilities, so this upgrade significantly improves charge-air cooling. It is suitable for vehicles with standard boost pressure, Stage 1–2 modifications and setups with a larger turbocharger.
The intercooler core is almost twice the size of the original and undergoes extensive quality control and pressure testing up to 50 psi. The cast aluminium end tanks connect seamlessly to the factory hoses, ensuring a tight, leak-free installation while contributing to increased power and torque.
