CTS Turbo direct-fit front-mount intercooler (FMIC) for the B8/B8.5 Audi A4/A5 platform with 1.8T/2.0T TFSI engines. The product is now available in an updated black finish.
The factory intercoolers of the B8 and B8.5 models have limited performance, so upgrading this platform brings a noticeable improvement. The intercooler is suitable for vehicles with standard boost pressure, Stage 1–2 modifications and large-turbocharger setups.
The intercooler’s large core is almost twice the size of the standard one, but does not cause a noticeable pressure drop; a drop of 1–2 psi was measured. The cast aluminium end tanks are seamlessly connected to high-flow silicone hoses, ensuring a tight connection without boost pressure leaks. The product has undergone extensive quality control and pressure testing.
For vehicles equipped with the Audi Drive Select (ADS) system, an additional oil cooler for ADS must be ordered.
The ADS cooler is visible through the lower right corner of the grille. It is usually fitted to vehicles with dynamic steering and dynamic suspension. Check your vehicle’s equipment before ordering and, if necessary, add the ADS cooler relocation kit.
