CTS Turbo intercooler for Audi RS3 8V/8Y 2.5 T

CTS Turbo RACE front-mounted intercooler (FMIC) for the Audi RS3 8V/8Y with the 2.5T engine is now available in a black finish.

The factory intercooler has limited capabilities, so this upgrade provides a noticeable improvement at factory boost pressure, especially on vehicles with optimised software.

The intercooler has undergone extensive quality control and pressure testing up to 50 psi. The cast aluminium end tanks connect seamlessly to the factory hoses, ensuring a tight connection without boost leaks while helping to increase power and torque. It is designed for very high-power and high-boost applications.

Factory FMIC size: 6.3 × 25.3 × 3.2″ = 510.05 in³

CTS RACE: 13.875 × 26 × 4″ = 1,443 in³

For Audi RS3 8V model years 2018–2020 without ACC. When fitting to the 8V, the original crash protection support must be removed and the plastic radiator support trimmed. Removing the support does not affect intercooler operation; a support bracket is planned for a later date.

For Audi RS3 8Y from model year 2022 onwards with ACC. When fitting to the 8Y, the plastic radiator supports must be trimmed, while the original crash protection support is compatible with the intercooler.

Suitable for: Audi RS3 III (8V) / IV (8Y).
