The CTS Turbo intercooler is specifically designed for the 3.0-litre M276 DE 30 AL V6 biturbo engine. The larger cooling surface improves heat dissipation and helps keep the charge air cool and dense, even at increased power levels.
The core measures 297 mm × 222 mm × 95 mm, providing a 134% larger external core volume compared with the standard intercooler. The optimised design ensures efficient heat transfer and good internal airflow. The cast aluminium end tanks are CAD-optimised, while the design has been validated using advanced CFD simulations for efficient cooling and low pressure drop.
The intercooler features a high-quality anti-corrosion coating for long-lasting and reliable operation. It is a direct replacement for the standard charge-air cooler, so no cutting or other modifications are required.

Installation note: to reinstall the cooling fan when the CTS Turbo intercooler is fitted, the main cooling-system hose must be disconnected on one side. The fan is very close to the intercooler but does not touch it.
