CTS Turbo direct-fit upgraded intercooler for vehicles on the MQB platform with 1.8T and 2.0T engines (2015+) in an updated black finish.
Upgrading the intercooler is important for maintaining a low intake air temperature (AIT) and optimal engine performance. Overheating of the standard or less efficient intercooler reduces performance and can cause detonation and ignition timing pull.
The CTS Turbo intercooler is a direct replacement for the factory part. It keeps charge air cool, helping to maintain more consistent performance. The high-flow core provides a low pressure drop and allows smooth airflow to the water radiator.
Features:
- High-density bar-and-plate core with cast end tanks, supporting up to 600 whp.
- Airflow guide vanes are cast into the end tanks and help distribute air evenly across the intercooler.
- Full compatibility with adaptive cruise control (ACC) and the forward collision warning system. On some 2019+ models, the Volkswagen forward collision warning system may require adjustment after installation.
- Compatible with all MQB vehicles with 1.8T and 2.0T engines, including facelift versions.

Restrictions: this product is not suitable for Volkswagen Tiguan vehicles with an 8-speed Tiptronic transmission. It is not suitable for third-generation Jetta, Passat and Beetle models that are not built on the MQB platform.
