The CTS Turbo front intercooler (FMIC) for the VW Golf GTI MK7.5 and VW Golf R MK7.5 is designed to cool charge air efficiently, reduce heat soak under load and maintain stable performance during dynamic driving or use on the track. Compared with factory intercoolers, where higher intake air temperatures and power loss can occur, this intercooler helps maintain a lower charge-air temperature, thereby improving reliability and delivering more consistent performance.
It is made with cast aluminium end tanks designed to withstand high pressures and temperatures, providing greater durability than plastic versions. The high-density core combined with robust end tanks enables efficient airflow and cooling, faster throttle response and more reliable power transfer. Installation is straightforward and does not require extensive modifications.
