This K04 upgrade turbocharger is intended for Audi A4, A5, Allroad and Q5 models with the 2.0T engine. The unit features a full-frame K04 CHRA housed in purpose-designed compressor and turbine housings.
The turbo is based on the turbocharger fitted as standard to the Golf R MK6 and is designed as a direct replacement for the factory Borg Warner or IHI turbocharger in Audi A4 B7, A4/A5/Allroad/Q5 B8 and A4/A5/Allroad/Q5 B8.5 models with the 2.0T engine.
The compressor and exhaust housings are made specifically for the larger K04 CHRA and are therefore adapted to the larger turbine wheel. The housings are CNC-machined and manufactured to OEM+ dimensions, allowing direct replacement of the factory turbocharger without additional parts. Suitable ECU software is required to use this upgrade.
OEM gaskets and fitting hardware are included for easier installation.

Important installation notes
- A high-flow sports catalyst or test pipe is required. Use with the factory catalyst is not recommended.
- An upgraded intake system and intercooler are recommended.
- Software adapted for the K04 turbocharger is required. The A4 B7 also requires an upgraded high-pressure fuel pump (HPFP) and upgraded injectors.
- The bracket on the factory coolant pipe may need to be trimmed on some models.
