The CTS Turbo K04 turbocharger is designed for transverse installation in 2.0T FSI/TSI engines. The compressor and exhaust housings are designed for the larger K04 CHRA, so this is not a standard combination of a larger K04 CHRA with the smaller K03 factory-specification housing.
High-quality castings are CNC-machined as a direct replacement for the factory turbocharger. ECU software calibrated for the K04 turbocharger and a performance downpipe are required for use. With suitable tuning and supporting modifications, the turbocharger supports up to 350 hp and 360 Nm.

Engine compatibility
EA113 2.0T FSI – timing belt engine: Suitable for engines with the BPY code.
EA888.1 2.0T TSI – chain-driven engine: Suitable for engines with the CCTA and CBFA codes.
EA888.2 2.0T TSI – chain-driven engine with valvelift system: CCTA/CBFA engines in the 2012–2015 Audi TT require a PCV adapter.
