The original plastic oil filter housing is quite fragile and can become brittle and crack over time. CTS Turbo B-Cool is made from T6061 aluminium and features integrated cooling fins that act as a heat sink and dissipate heat from the engine oil.
Installation is straightforward and requires only basic hand tools. The housing is machined from a single piece of T6061 aluminium in Canada and hard anodised in black for a discreet appearance and long-lasting colour durability.

Before installation, the central filter basket must be removed from the original housing cap and installed in the CTS aluminium housing. The basket clips into the new housing.
