The CTS Turbo test pipe for Audi A4 B5 1.8T is designed as a direct replacement for the standard catalytic converter mounted directly behind the turbocharger. It enables improved exhaust gas flow, a more pronounced exhaust note and noticeable performance gains.
The 3″ diameter pipe is made from T304 stainless steel, formed using mandrel bending and hand TIG-welded. Smooth transitions from the turbocharger to the exhaust system help ensure efficient flow. The test pipe has two connections for oxygen sensors (O2), and an additional connection for data logging is also included.

Suitable engine tuning software is required to remove the check engine light (CEL), which may appear after installation. CTS Turbo recommends using a high-flow catalytic converter (High Flow Cat) with environmental protection in mind.
Stage 2 software upgrade is strongly recommended.
