Description
The CTS Turbo kit is designed for 2021–2024 Toyota Supra models and BMW M340i/M440i models with the 6-port B58TU Gen2 engine. The design uses new technological solutions to optimise performance while retaining OEM fitment.
Using transient flow analysis and flow-bench testing, CTS Turbo engineers optimised the twin-scroll turbine housing for a GTX3582R-style turbocharger while retaining OEM fitment, the OEM position and use of the OEM wastegate valve. This is not a hybrid turbocharger. The kit is therefore compatible with all OEM-fitment exhaust downpipe systems, intake systems and charge pipes. It is a large turbocharger in the OEM position that can achieve more than 879 whp with the appropriate supporting modifications.
The kit was extensively tested by Titan Motorsports on race vehicles and achieved more than 879 whp without nitrous oxide and with the OEM engine block. The optimised twin-scroll design enables boost pressure to build very close to the characteristics of the OEM turbocharger.
The kit includes a completely new turbocharger, so there is no need to send in or purchase an old core. It includes a GTX3582R Gen2-style ceramic CHRA with two ball bearings, a machined 11-blade compressor wheel, a proprietary stainless steel turbine housing flow-matched to the turbocharger, and VSR balancing that exceeds OEM tolerances. A 4-inch turbo intake connection and oil and coolant connections are also included. It is compatible with the OEM installation hardware and OEM wastegate actuator; these parts are not included, so the OEM actuator must be used.
