CTS Turbo turbocharger for Volkswagen Jetta IV GLI

CTS Turbo BOSS is a complete kit for directly installing a larger turbocharger on EA888 Gen.3 engines without the MQB platform (CPLA/CPPA). It is designed to work with existing modifications without fabricating additional custom parts.

Installation involves removing the factory turbocharger, transferring the factory wastegate actuator and reinstalling everything using the included mounting hardware. The engine management software must be updated to Unitronic Stage 3.

The turbo features a bearing core with two high-temperature-resistant ceramic ball bearings. The assembly is balanced on a high-speed VSR balancing machine. The 67 mm counter-rotating turbocharger is designed as a direct upgrade for the EA888 Gen.3 platform, combining fast response with performance exceeding 400 hp.

The kit uses the factory mounting points and is compatible with 3-inch intake systems, 3-inch downpipe systems and the turbocharger outlet pipe in the factory location. The fuel system does not need to be upgraded.

• Vehicles with a DSG gearbox also require Unitronic Stage 2 TCU transmission software.
