With the extension harness for the electric wastegate actuator, you can check and adjust the actuator voltage without the turbocharger installed. You can adjust the wastegate voltage on a new turbocharger or actuator on a workbench, before installing it in the vehicle.
How to use
- Connect the CTS Turbo extension harness to the electrical connector in the vehicle.
- Connect the other end of the extension harness to the turbocharger on the workbench.
- Switch on the ignition, but do not start the engine.
- On the same workbench, run a computer with the VCDS or OBD11 application and, if necessary, calibrate and diagnose the wastegate actuator voltage.
