The IS38 electronic wastegate actuator is designed as a replacement for actuators 06K145725S and IHI 24085-04. It is suitable for IHI IS12, IS20 and IS38 turbochargers, as well as hybrid turbochargers.
It is a direct replacement for the factory actuator, designed for correct fitment and operation. It is compatible with CTS BOSS kits and hybrid turbochargers for vehicles on the MQB platform.
When installing, follow the factory procedure for the IS38 actuator and set the correct wastegate valve closing tension.

Compatibility and limitations
Compatible with CTS-TR-1000 (CTS IS38 turbo), CTS-TR-1010 (CTS MQB BOSS kits) and CTS-TR-1020 (BB550 turbo), as well as aftermarket hybrid turbochargers. Not compatible with the APR DTR6054 turbocharger.
Not suitable for Gen3 engines without the MQB platform, found mainly in later MK6 Jetta GLI models, and not suitable for 1.4 TSI engines.
