DBA’s metallurgy provides resistance to the increased loads and heat generated during hard braking, ensuring consistent performance and making them better suited for more aggressive driving or high-performance applications compared to DBA’s Street Series brake discs. Many DBA 4000 Series brake discs feature DBA’s Kangaroo Paw ventilation system, with a pattern of 144 diamond- and teardrop-shaped pillars. These deliver an impressive 30% increase in surface area and a 20% improvement in cooling efficiency compared with traditional straight vanes. All 4000 Series Brake rotors feature Thermographic heat paint markings that change colour at specific temperature thresholds to assist with the monitoring of braking temperatures and rotor fatigue. DBA 4000 Series HD Brake Rotors showcase a sleek OE-style rotor finish, catering to drivers seeking the advantages of a 4000 Series rotor while desiring an OE-style appearance, including controlled race divisions.
