EGO-X 2.75″ (70 mm) ECE exhaust system for VW Polo 6R WRC 220 PS

This EGO-X exhaust system for the VW Polo 6R WRC is hand-fabricated using the TIG welding process and consists of absorption silencers without chambers. The pipe diameter is 2.75 inches (70 mm).

ECE-approved version: ECE approval applies only when the Bull-X Tronic control unit is selected. In Sport mode (Dynamic, Race), the valve remains open while driving within the scope of the ECE approval and is closed when stationary. In Comfort mode, the valve remains closed and opens while driving within the scope of the ECE approval once the throttle is 75% open. If the vehicle has driving profile selection, it can be used for control; vehicles without this feature use the supplied button. The button’s LED indicates the valve status: the light is off when the valve is open and on when it is closed.

Version without ECE approval: this applies to exhaust valve control via a switch, remote control or Bull-X Tronic “Race” CAN bus control unit. This version is intended for track use only.

Road use: Legal use on public roads requires the Bull-X Tronic control unit with ECE approval together with an EG-approved catalytic converter. Other control and/or catalytic-converter configurations are intended for track use only.

Suitable for: VW Polo V (6R).

Only the version marked “road legal” has a European ECE / EC approval (Bull-X Tronic controller with ECE or the HJS EC catalytic converter).
