This EGO-X exhaust system for the Seat Ibiza Cupra 1.8 TSI is hand-built using TIG welding and consists of absorption silencers without chambers. The pipe diameter is 2.75 inches (70 mm).

If the vehicle has driving profile selection, the system can also be controlled via this function. For vehicles without driving profile selection, control is provided by the supplied button. The button’s LED indicates the valve status: the light is off when the valve is open and on when it is closed.
The Bull-X Tronic control unit automatically closes the valve in all areas required by the ECE approval, regardless of the selected driving mode. It generally offers two control options:
- Sport (Dynamic, Race): within the limits of the ECE approval, the valve is always open; when stationary, it is always closed.
- Comfort: the valve is always closed, but opens while driving within the limits of the ECE approval once the throttle is at least 75% open.
For versions without ECE approval, the valve can be controlled via a switch, remote control or the Bull-X Tronic »Race« CAN bus control unit. These versions are intended exclusively for use on a race track.
Road use: For lawful use on public roads, the system must be equipped with the Bull-X Tronic control unit with ECE approval and an EG catalytic converter. Other control units and/or catalytic converters are intended exclusively for racing use.
Suitable for: SEAT Ibiza IV (6J5).

Only the version marked “road legal” has a European ECE / EC approval (Bull-X Tronic controller with ECE or the HJS EC catalytic converter).
