EGO-X 2.75″ exhaust system for VW Polo VI (AW) GTI 200 PS

This EGO-X exhaust system for the VW Polo AW1 GTI is hand-fabricated using TIG welding and consists of absorption silencers without chambers. The pipe diameter is 2.75 inches (70 mm).

Exhaust valve control

If the vehicle has selectable driving profiles, the valve can also be controlled through this function. On vehicles without selectable driving profiles, the supplied button can be used. The button’s LED indicates the valve position: the light is off when the valve is open and on when it is closed.

The Bull-X Tronic control unit generally offers two control modes:

• Sport (Dynamic, Race): within the limits permitted by the ECE requirements, the valve remains open while driving. The valve remains closed when stationary and at speeds between 20 and 80 km/h.
• Comfort: the valve remains closed, but opens within the permitted ECE range while driving when the throttle is at least 75% open.

Road use: ECE approval applies only when the Bull-X Tronic control unit with ECE approval is selected and used together with the EG catalytic converter. Other control and catalytic-converter configurations are intended exclusively for track use.

Only the version marked “road legal” has a European ECE / EC approval (Bull-X Tronic controller with ECE or the HJS EC catalytic converter).
