This EGO-X exhaust system for Mini Cooper S and JCW R56–R59 models is hand-fabricated using TIG welding and features absorption silencers without chambers. The pipe diameter is 2.75 inches (70 mm).

Exhaust valve control
With the Bull-X Tronic control unit, the valve can be controlled according to the selected driving profile. If the vehicle does not have driving profile selection, a supplied switch can be used for control. The switch’s LED indicates the valve status: when the light is off, the valve is open; when the light is on, it is closed.
In Sport (Dynamic, Race) mode, the valve remains open while driving within the conditions of the ECE approval and is always closed when stationary. In Comfort mode, the valve remains closed, but opens while driving within the conditions of the ECE approval once the throttle is 75% open.
Road use: ECE approval applies only to the combination with the Bull-X Tronic control unit with ECE approval and an EG catalytic converter. Other control options and catalytic converters are intended exclusively for track use.
