This EGO-X exhaust system for the BMW M2 Competition is hand-built using TIG welding and consists of absorption silencers without chambers. The pipe diameter is 3.5″/89 mm.

The exhaust system is available with the ECE-approved Bull-X Tronic control version. During driving, Comfort and Sport modes can be selected. If the vehicle has drive-profile selection, the system can be controlled through it. Vehicles without drive-profile selection use the supplied switch. Its LED indicates the valve status: the valve is open when the light is off and closed when the light is on.
In Sport mode (Dynamic, Race), the valve remains open while driving within the ECE-approved operating range, but stays closed when stationary and at speeds of 20–80 km/h. In Comfort mode, the valve remains closed and opens while driving within the ECE-approved operating range at 75% throttle opening.
Road use: ECE approval applies only to the version with the Bull-X Tronic control unit selected (with ECE approval) and the appropriate EG catalytic converter. Other controller and catalytic-converter configurations are intended exclusively for track use.
Suitable for: BMW M2 I (F22/F23/F45/F46/F87).
