This EGO-X valved exhaust system for the X3/X4 40i is hand-built using TIG welding and made from high-quality stainless steel. The pipe diameter is 2x 3″ (76 mm), merging into 1x 3.5″ (89 mm). The system gives your BMW a distinctive exhaust note with real character.

- Absorption silencer: hand-built by the manufacturer
- From the OPF, or from the middle silencer on VFL models without an OPF; the replacement middle-silencer pipe is available separately
- TIG welded
- No additional control unit is required. The system uses the factory control system; the valve actuator is transferred from the original system and fitted to the new exhaust system.

Road use: The exhaust system has ECE approval and is approved for road use without being entered in the vehicle documents.

Only the version marked “road legal” has a European ECE / EC approval (Bull-X Tronic controller with ECE or the HJS EC catalytic converter).
