EGO-X 3.5″ ECE exhaust system for VW Tiguan R 320 PS (AD1)

This EGO-X exhaust system for the Tiguan R is hand-finished using the TIG welding process and features absorption silencers without chambers. The pipe diameter is 3.5 inches (89 mm).

The exhaust system features an electronically controlled valve. An SBS motor is included.

Road use: The version with the Bull-X Tronic control unit with ECE approval and an EG-approved catalytic converter is approved for public-road use without being entered in the vehicle documents. Other control units and/or catalytic converters are intended for track use only.

If the vehicle has selectable driving profiles, the valve can be controlled through this function. For vehicles without selectable driving profiles, a supplied switch can be used. The switch’s LED indicates the valve position: the light is off when the valve is open and on when it is closed.

The Bull-X Tronic control unit automatically closes the valve in all areas required by the ECE approval, regardless of the selected driving mode.

Bull-X Tronic operating modes:

• Sport (Dynamic, Race): within the limits approved by the ECE regulations, the valve remains open. When stationary and at speeds of 20–80 km/h, the valve remains closed.
• Comfort: the valve remains closed, but opens while driving within the limits approved by the ECE regulations when the throttle is at least 75% open.

Suitable for: VW Tiguan II (AD1).

Approval

Only the version marked “road legal” has a European ECE / EC approval (Bull-X Tronic controller with ECE or the HJS EC catalytic converter).
