EGO-X 3.5″ exhaust system for Audi A3 8P 3.2 quattro 250 PS

This hand-built EGO-X cat-back exhaust system without ECE approval is designed for the Audi A3 8P 3.2 quattro. The pipe diameter is 3.5 inches (89 mm). The complete system consists of absorption silencers without chambers and is manufactured using TIG welding. This exhaust system is suitable for standard vehicles as well as vehicles with tuned engines.

If the vehicle has a drive profile selection system, or a sport button, the valve can also be controlled through it. If the vehicle does not have drive profile selection, the valve can be controlled using the supplied button. The button’s LED indicates the current valve position: the valve is open when the light is off and closed when the light is on.

If the Bull-X Tronic control unit is purchased, the valve can still be opened when the vehicle is stationary, while during driving the control unit regulates the exhaust valve in accordance with ECE regulations. Bull-X Tronic provides two control options:

• Sport (Dynamic, Race)
• Comfort mode (the valve opens from 75% throttle position)

Road use: This exhaust system does not have ECE approval and is intended for use on the racetrack. The Bull-X Tronic control unit enables the valve to be regulated during driving in accordance with ECE regulations, but does not by itself provide approval for the complete exhaust system. When combined with a catalytic converter, only the EG-approved HJS catalytic converter is permitted for road use; catalytic converters or decat pipes without EG approval are intended for racetrack use only.

Only the version marked “road legal” has a European ECE / EC approval (Bull-X Tronic controller with ECE or the HJS EC catalytic converter).
