EGO-X 3.5″ exhaust system for Audi RS3 8P quattro 340 PS (ECE)

This EGO-X exhaust system for the Audi RS3 8P quattro is hand-built using TIG welding and features absorption silencers without chambers. The pipe diameter is 3.5 inches (89 mm).

Road use: ECE approval applies only when selecting the Bull-X Tronic control unit with ECE approval. Legal use on public roads also requires the system to be combined with an EG catalytic converter. Versions with switch control, remote control or the Bull-X Tronic “Race” CAN bus control unit are intended for track use only.

Operation of the ECE version: You can select Comfort or Sport mode while driving. If the vehicle has selectable driving profiles, the system can be controlled through them. For vehicles without selectable driving profiles, a supplied button is used. Its LED indicates the valve position: the valve is open when the light is off and closed when the light is on. The control unit automatically closes the valve in all areas required by the ECE regulations, regardless of the selected mode.

The Bull-X Tronic control unit provides two main control options:

• Sport (Dynamic, Race): within the permitted ECE range, the valve is always open; when stationary, it is always closed.
• Comfort: the valve remains closed, but opens while driving within the permitted ECE range when the throttle is 75% open.

Versions without ECE approval: If the vehicle has selectable driving profiles or a Sport button, the system can be controlled through it. For vehicles without selectable driving profiles, a button with an LED valve-status indicator is supplied. If the Bull-X Tronic control unit is purchased separately, the valve can still be opened while the vehicle is stationary; during driving, the control unit regulates it in accordance with ECE requirements.
