This EGO-X exhaust system for the pre-facelift Audi RS3 8V is hand-fabricated using TIG welding. It comprises absorption silencers without chambers. The pipe diameter is 3.5 inches (89 mm).

Valve control operation:
- Sport (Dynamic, Race): Within the approved ECE operating range, the valve remains open while driving and is always closed when the vehicle is stationary.
- Comfort: The valve remains closed, but opens while driving within the approved ECE operating range from 75% throttle opening.
If the vehicle has selectable driving profiles, the valve can be controlled through this function. On vehicles without selectable driving profiles, the supplied button is used. Its LED indicates the valve status: the light is off when the valve is open and on when it is closed.
Road use: The ECE-approved version is the configuration with the Bull-X Tronic control unit with ECE approval; combined with the EG catalytic converter, it is intended for lawful use on public roads. Versions with other controllers and/or catalytic converters are intended for track use only.
Suitable for: Audi RS3 III (8V).
