This EGO-X exhaust system with centre silencer for the Audi S3 8P and A3 3.2 8P is hand-built using TIG welding and features absorption silencers without chambers. The pipe diameter is 3.5 inches (89 mm).

Exhaust valve control
On vehicles with selectable drive profiles, the valve can be controlled through this function. For vehicles without selectable drive profiles, a button is supplied. The button’s LED indicates the valve status: the valve is open when the light is off and closed when the light is on.
The Bull-X Tronic controller provides two operating modes:
- Sport (Dynamic, Race): the valve remains open while driving within the limits of the ECE regulations and is always closed when the vehicle is stationary.
- Comfort: the valve remains closed, but opens while driving within the limits of the ECE regulations when the throttle is opened to 75% or more.
Road use: ECE approval applies only when the Bull-X Tronic control unit with ECE approval is selected and an EG-approved catalytic converter is used. All other control and/or catalytic converter versions are intended exclusively for track use and are not permitted on public roads.
