Road use: ECE approval applies only when the Bull-X Tronic control unit with ECE approval is selected and the system is used with an EG catalytic converter. All other control units and/or catalytic converters are intended solely for motorsport use.

With the ECE version, the Bull-X Tronic control unit regulates the exhaust valve during driving in accordance with the ECE requirements. Sport (Dynamic, Race) and Comfort modes are available. If the vehicle has driving profile selection, it can be used for control; vehicles without driving profile selection use the supplied button. The button’s LED indicates the valve position: the light being off means the valve is open, while the light being on means it is closed.

• Sport (Dynamic, Race): within the ECE-approved operating range, the valve remains open while driving; when stationary and at 20–80 km/h, it remains closed.
• Comfort: the valve remains closed, but opens within the ECE-approved operating range when the throttle is at least 75% open.

Versions without ECE approval can be controlled using the driving profile selection, the supplied button or the selected controller. These versions are intended solely for motorsport use.

Approval

Only the version marked “road legal” has a European ECE / EC approval (Bull-X Tronic controller with ECE or the HJS EC catalytic converter). Versions marked “no ECE, track use only” have no approval and are not permitted for road use. If in doubt about the version, contact us and we will check for you.

Exhaust tips

This exhaust system requires exhaust tips, which are not included in the price. Choose them from the Bull-X tips in our shop and add them to your basket; if unsure which fit, contact us.
