EGO-X 3.5″ exhaust system for Audi TT RS 8S quattro 400 PS

This EGO-X exhaust system for the Audi TT RS 8S is hand-crafted using TIG welding and consists of absorption silencers without chambers. The pipe diameter is 3.5″ (89 mm).

If the vehicle has selectable driving profiles, the valve can be controlled via the selected driving profile. For vehicles without selectable driving profiles, a supplied button can be used. The button’s LED indicates the valve status: the light is off when the valve is open and on when it is closed.

The Bull-X Tronic control unit automatically closes the valve in all areas required for compliance with ECE regulations.

• Sport (Dynamic, Race): within the permitted ECE operating range, the valve is always open; when stationary, it is always closed.
• Comfort: the valve is always closed, but opens while driving within the permitted ECE operating range once the throttle is 75% open.

On versions without ECE approval, the valve can be operated by a switch, remote control or the Bull-X Tronic “Race” Can-Bus control unit. In Sport (Dynamic, Race) mode the valve opens, while in Comfort mode it opens at 75% throttle opening.

Road use: ECE approval applies only when using the Bull-X Tronic control unit with ECE approval together with an EG-approved catalytic converter. All other combinations of control units and catalytic converters are intended solely for use on a race track and are not permitted for public-road use.
